    Tutankhamun (1336-1327 B.C.) took the throne at a mere eight years old and ruled during Dynasty 18. Howard Carter discovered his tomb in 1922. The tomb was filled with amazing finds of gold, alabaster, wood, and cloth. The most well known piece, his golden mask, now resides at the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
