A pure expression of one variety from one site, the 2022 Syrah Estate Seven Hills Vineyard is smooth and seductive on the palate in dark berry, minerally gravel, and bacon fat. It's a brooding, full-bodied red wine of fine tannin structure and well-integrated oak that's drinking well in its youth and should continue to develop over 12-15 years more. Roasted herbs, peppercorns, gravy and dark berries on the nose of this concentrated, savory red. It's full-bodied, meaty and compact, with polished tannins and a long, compact and delicious finish.
