The finest releases, made by the Grand Cru Class & eacute estates, can demand over $200 for 375 mL. L'Épiphanie de Sauternes hails from one of those prized Grand Cru Class & eacute estates, but the château is so famous, the folks there would only allow Jean-Marc access if we kept its name a secret. Bottled in a traditional half-bottle, it offers luscious layers of honeyed apricot and citrus, framed by notes of toasted nuts. One sip and you'll see why it has 95 points and three gold medals.
