Made to honor America's 250th, these six limited-edition USA 250 wines pay homage to our nation's great icons and wine styles-and are guaranteed to be the talk of any patriotic celebration. There's two whites, the 90-point Constitution Chardonnay and the 90-point White House Sauvignon Blanc. The former is lush and inviting with tones of apple and honeysuckle; the latter is bright and crisp, with notes of citrus and papaya. Then there are four reds. You'll have the cherry-accented Proclamation Pinot and the 90-point American Eagle Zin, plus the fruit-rich Capitol Cab and the ultra-smooth Washington Heritage Red. Tasting Notes: USA 250 Constitution Chardonnay: This is a medium-bodied white with tones of lemon zest, green apple, honeysuckle and delicate baking spices. USA 250 White House Sauvignon Blanc: This is a light-bodied white with notes of citrus, papaya, fresh-cut grass and lime. USA 250 Proclamation Pinot: This is a medium-bodied red with notes of ripe cherry, strawberry, blackberry, cedar spice and toasty vanilla. USA 250 American Eagle Zinfandel: This is a full-bodied red with dried cherry and black currant aromas and flavors of fig and clove. USA 250 Capitol Cab: This is a full-bodied red with flavors and aromas of blueberry, black cherry, blackberry and subtle mocha tones.
