Broccardo Barolo Bricco San Pietro 2022

Bricco San Pietro is one of the flagship wines of the Broccardo company. A Barolo with a nose centered on fruity and floral aromas; fresh and dry in the mouth, with dense and precise tannins and slightly spicy notes. It is an intense wine, with good acidity on the palate, a fine and austere Barolo that reflects the typical characteristics of the Monforte d'Alba terroir.Vibrant garnet red in color. Delicately perfumed with aromas of ripe red berries and rose petals. Medium bodied and balanced with well structured tannin. Ideal with well matured cheeses, duck, polenta and truffle dishes. Very floral, with dried flowers, notes of pepper and a touch of cedar. The subtly firm, medium- to full-bodied palate shows composed, succulent red fruit. Harmonious and well-integrated. Already pretty but will evolve nicely over the next couple of years. Better in 2028.
