Adobe Road Sangiacomo Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022

This Pinot pours a dark ruby in the glass, a nod to the Petaluma Gap intensity of fruit. Aromas and flavors of ripe melon, fresh flowers, and cinnamon stick mix with a savory elegance of black tea leaves and forest floor. Taking on a toasted and spicy profile, the 2022 Pinot Noir Sangiacomo Vineyard Roberts Road pours a deep red ruby color and is a blend of the Pinot Noir clones of Pommard, 777, and 115 clones that were co-fermented and raised in 35% new French oak barrels. In the glass, it reveals notes of ripe cherries, toasted pine, woodsy spice, and licorice. Medium-bodied, it's supple and silky in texture, with a ripe, rounded feel. It's approachable now and should hold on over the next 5-6 years. Ripe dark cherries and raspberries with hints of dark licorice, chocolate and dried orange peel. Medium- to full-bodied with a creamy texture and succulent fruit. Quite rich with a spiced and chocolatey finish.
