- While UPS is our preferred method of shipping, we also ship FedEx.(Please note that UPS and FedEx WILL NOT ship to a P.O. Box)
- Orders are normally shipped within 5 working / business days. We will not hold up your order for an out of stock item, unless we expect it within a few days. Beyond that point we will notify you of any delays.
- For Insects, we HIGHLY recommend shipping using at least Express method so they arrive in the best possible condition.
- Orders must be received before 11:00 a.m. EST to be shipped the same day. We do not process or ship internet orders Saturday or Sunday. We obviously cannot ship on shipping holidays (Thanksgiving, Fourth of July, etc.)
- You may exchange or return for a refund or a store credit (less shipping charges) any item sold online within 10 days of receipt. Please contact us via email prior to returning merchandise. Please note, we are not responsible for shipping on returned merchandise. Merchandise returned C.O.D. will not be accepted.
- International orders are gladly accepted. We will inform you of any additional charges prior to shipment. US Fish & Wildlife Service permits are required for shipment of some products. Email us for additional information.
- For local shipments, we can arrange delivery via messenger service.
- All orders are insured. Should anything arrive damaged, please save all packing material and contact Evolution immediately. We will arrange for the carrier's insurance agent to pickup your item.

About Us
A landmark in Manhattan's SoHo art district since 1993.
We sell unique natural history collectibles usually seen only in museums. These include framed butterflies and beetles, fossils, seashells, skulls and skeletons, medical models, and tribal art.
We have an entomology workshop staffed by experts, and our sales personnel are helpful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. We welcome your email.
Our clientele includes museums, universities, private collectors, nature enthusiasts, interior decorators, and photographers.
We are a valuable resource for educators and students and an "oasis" for children.
Evolution is a member AAPS, The Association of Applied Paleontological Sciences and has co-sponsored educational activities with the City of New York Department of Cultural Affairs and the New York State Council on the Arts.
We have been featured on television and radio and in magazines and newspapers worldwide.
Evolution is licensed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Division of Fish and Wildlife.
Our specimens are obtained from paleontologists, entomologists, anthropologists, and others who supply museums and private collectors from all corners of the world.
All of our items are legally obtained and can be legally sold in New York State.
We welcome custom and special orders, rent to photographers, and accept consignments.
We are open 7 days a week and ship worldwide.
