St. Blaise Double Row Wool Combs
Made from cherry. The combs weigh approximately 6 ounces each and each comb has 25 tines set ¼" on center in two rows.
We used to use, sell and support "VALKARYIE" "mini" combs until a few years ago when the company just disappeared without any warning. They were larger than the Louet or Majacraft mini combs. . . but not as heavy or as hard on the wrists as full-sized 'Viking' combs. When they disappeared they left a hole in the marketplace. . . until now! These St. Blaise combs fill that gap!

The set consists of a pair of combs, the optional table mount/pad device, a curved wood diz and a 'pull' (threader) for the diz. All items are made from cherry.

Brass Diz from Majacraft
This beautifully finished unbreakable polished brass diz has three hole sizes - 1.5mm, 3mm, for fine through to coarse wools, and a 5mm for color blending.
The Majacraft diz is made in brass and has the holes cut with high pressure water. There are no burrs at all so the fibre will never catch and the brass has a low coefficient of friction so the fibre flows smoothly. The holes are very accurate so you can be sure your work will be precise.
The diz acts as a former to make a constant thickness sliver from carded or combed wool, while aligning fibres longitudinally. An essential for worsted spinning, and since it aligns the fibre, can be used to revitalize an old fleece or to blend different wools.
Majacraft Spinning Chair

Majacraft Travel Kate

For those who need a larger production rate, the Double-Wide 200x2 series is available.
The large drum on the 200x2 series double wide models is 15" wide with the same 7" diameter as the standard carder and produces a batt approximately 14" x 22" long. Overall dimensions are 19.5" wide x 24" long. The frame is 4" high. This carder is meant to be used at the edge of the work surface to allow turning of the crank handle (the 405 series has a taller frame allowing the carder to be used anywhere on the work surface). This model also has a pulley attached to the end of the shaft so that the carder can be motorized by the end user.

The Katie a-Go-Go™ allows spinners to take a fully functional Lazy Kate with them no matter where they go. Best of all, the Katie a-Go-Go™ has a fully adjustable tensioning system just like the larger Lazy Kate's.
The Katie a-Go-Go™ accommodates up to 3 bobbins. Pictured are Majacraft bobbins (and an Ashford bobbin) which tend to have a larger diameter than many bobbins currently on the market. This latest design uses bobbin rods which will accommodate virtually all known bobbins on the market today.
The Katie a-Go-Go™ fully assembles in less than a minute. It has just 6 parts plus a carrying sack. There are no tools required to assemble it. The user screws the center dowel into the base by hand. They then insert the 3 steel bobbin rods. Then, they slip either 2 or 3 bobbins onto the rods and insert the tensioning dowel into the base. Lastly, they wrap the cord around the bobbins and then pull their yarn through the center dowel's yarn loop. That's it!

These hand-crafted 'Little Man' Niddy-Noddy's are delight to own. The 1 yard & 2 yard versions have a shaped handle made from laminated hardwoods and have a hand rubbed finish - they are very comfortable to hold. The cross-dowels are tapered so they only go in half way creating a niddy-noddy that disassembles for easy storage and transportation.
Choose from a 2 yard, a 1 yard, or for sampling and contests, a "mini" niddy-noddy.
