  • The Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses was originally published in Germany, in 1849.
  • Its author by the name of Johann Scheibel is shrouded in mystery.
  • The author claimed that the seals and invocations given in the book came from ancient Hebrew sources, particularly the Talmud.
  • It is not sure whether or not his claims were based on truth, although Talmudic scholars will probably deny that there are any references in Talmudic literature to the Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses.
  • While the original source of the book will probably never be ascertained, its popularity and durability can hardly be denied.
  • The revised edition is an attempt at the reorganization of a work, long hailed by occult masters as a valuable tool in the study and practice of cabalistic magic.

Enoch, the Ethiopian, Patriarch and Prophet, Greater than Abraham, Holier than Moses, is the first perfect human being in the Bible and the first ~ man according to Moses the lawgiver. (Gen. 5:18, 22, 24) And yet he has been kept a secret until the printing of this revealing book. The Bible states that only three men ascended body, mind and soul into heaven. Enoch was the first. Elijah was the second and Jesus Christ was the third. Enoch, however is unique. He was the first to have both walked with, and to have ascended into heaven without experiencing death. Enoch lived such a righteous life that he did not die. Enoch, the son of Jared, the seventh seed of Adam, the great grandfather of Noah, father of Methuselah This prophetic man, an outstanding spiritual leader before the Biblical flood, is the most towering biblical character in history whose flawless credentials and heavenly achievements are recounted by Moses. The greatest Biblical revelation since the discovery of the dead sea scrolls.

Consider this book as a kind of consumer protection guide to religion, a big step forward toward religious literacy. Readers will explore myths, origins, fundamentalism, television ministries, the identical stories of Stellar/Pagan/Christian beliefs, unfounded doctrines, child abuse, the Year 200, and women's rights. It's entertaining and readable, with a sense of humor reflecting the absurdities of fundamental religion -- while being inoffensive. The approach is one of not hitting the reader over the head with "you're wrong", but rather "consider this". The Book Your Church Doesn't Want You To Read contains many interesting, unknown facts such as there being no mention of Jesus Christ is the Dead Sea Scrolls; the oldest story in the world (predating Christianity by millennia) being that of a virgin mother bearing a newborn baby; God finding out about the Trinity from the Catholic Church in 325 A. D. ; and Christmas being a pagan holiday with December 25th shared as a birthdate by many other crucified saviors.

  • The first and second books of the Maccabees were part of the Latin Bible. In the Protestant Chruch they were not not included amongst the canonical books. But they are part of the Apocrypha, that is, books withdrawn from holy use.
  • The Jewish standard of judgement was accepted, and they did not form part of the Hebrew Bible.
  • The first Maccabees is a simple, direct, historical narrative of the forty years' struggle from 175 to 135 B.C., from the accession of Antiochus IV (Epiphanes) to the death of Simon, the youngest of the Maccabean brothers.
  • The Second book of the Maccabees covers part of the same period of history, but the record is more rhetorical and ornate.
  • This book contains I, II, III & IV Maccabees and Psalm 151.

Every black man should read this book--it really gets inside a woman's mind to see what she thinks and what the rationale are behind her actions. A real page-turner! And for the women out there who don't like the book, it's only because there's something in there that they can identify with or see in themselves. Right on, Ms. Ali!

First written and published by Robert Athlyi Rogers in 1924 (in Newark, New Jersey)this book was soon after introduced in Jamaica. There is no doubt that this holy text must be considered as one of the most important theological reference of the Rastafari Movement. As the "King James's Bible" ; "The Promised Key" of Leonard Percival Howell ; The "Kebra Negast" or "The Royal Parchment Scroll of Black Supremacy" of Rev. Fitz Ballintine, the "Holy Piby" represent the early fondations of the rastafarian worldview.

What is the essence of our being? How do we truly come to "know ourselves"? What is our relationship to God? And, conversely, what is God's relationship to us -- his creation? How do we tap into the spiritual corridors of our soul? Is God some big man (anthropomorphic) in a far off place watching our every move, logging in our positive or negative actions, for his/her eventual dispensation of justice(as many of us have been taught and believe) or can God be found in all things simultaneously (pantheistic) and experienced daily? The answers to these questions and many others are delineated in this wonderful work on spiritual cultivation by an author who is clearly an authority on his subject matter -- and thus writes with enlightening conviction. The Metu Neter, vol 2, is one of the most important books of our times. Certainly it is one of the most important texts I've read. It not only awakens the reader to the historical developments in ancient "Egypitan" spiritual dynamics, but also offers the contemporary seeker a clearly defined road to his/her own spiritual growth and development utilizing many of those same ancient modalities. Read this book. Study this book. Digest this book. Experience this book. Then, pass it on to everyone that you know.

    Brand Name:  Lloyd M. Graham

All metaphysical philosophers and intrested people should read this book. The author has a profound understanding of comparitive religion. He shows that all religions teach the same thing, but that christianity only took out parts of the ancient pagan teachings to fit its own agendas. Graham is an excellent writer and a true skeptic. He examines both sides of the evidence, and comes to accurate conclusions. One of the most intresting parts of the book, is that he shows that the devil is the shadow side of god. He brilliantly shows how the christian churches did not find an original religion, but that their religion is nothing more than a rehash of ancient pagan religions. He also slams science in the process, showing that many so called scientific discoveries were known long ago.

This volume contains an English translation of the famous Ethiopian work, Kebra Nagast, The Glory Of Kings. This book has been held in the highest honour in Ethiopia for several centuries and has been, and still is, venerated by the people as containing the final proof of their descent from the Hebrew Patriarchs, and of the kinship of their kings of the Solomonic line with Jesus Christ, the Son of God. In other words, the book proves: 1. That the lawful kings of Ethiopia were descended from Solomon, King of Israel. 2. That the Tabernacle of the Law of God, the Ark of the Covenant was brought from Jerusalem to Aksum by Menyelek, Solomon's firstborn son. 3. That the God of Israel transferred His place of abode on earth from Jerusalem to Aksum, the ecclesiastical capital of Ethiopia.
