This huge bird of prey is the largest of the eagles, by weight. It has a 6 foot wingspan, and enormous legs, feet and talons. The Harpy is unusually agile for its size, able to navigate through its dense tropical and subtropical habitat to prey on arboreal animals such as sloths and monkeys. Females are larger than males.
