Size: 9.25 x 6". The Lladró Gres collection is inspired by the colors and texture of the clay from which it gets all its subtlety, strength and warmth. Unlike porcelain with tones coming from colors in solution, gres sculptures are decorated with glazes. In the high temperatures of the kiln the glazes never crystallize identically and so countless little crystals are produced. The chromatic effects achieved are never entirely predictable ensuring that each piece is unique and unrepeatable.
