This shuttle style was invented by Lady Katherin Hoare for her mother to use after she lost her sight so she could continue to tat.

The shuttle is shown and described in her book "The Art Of Tatting" which we also stock. This one is made from luminescent Mother-of-Pearl shell and is approximately 3.5" in length.
