Weave Drafting The Easy Way - Part 2 with Constance Lalena.

In WEAVE DRAFTING ? THE EASY WAY, Part 2, you will continue your exploration of weave drafting concepts as you design your own weaves. You will be introduced to two-thread constructions, diagonal drafts and profile drafts. You will also learn a number of further shortcuts to weave drafting while you explore lace weaves, waffle weave, overshot, and twills. You will be shown an easy way to visualize exactly how a complex weave, such as overshot, will look without actually having to weave it first. Both 4-harness drafts and advanced weaves requiring 6 and more harnesses are incorporated, making this a course which will be referred to over and over as the skill and experience of the weaver grows. Prerequisites: WEAVE DRAFTING ? THE EASY WAY, Part 1 is a prerequisite to this video workshop. Materials needed: Graph paper, pen, colored pencils and a notebook. 74 minutes.
