This compact (5-1/2" tall) culinary torch is designed for kitchen-sized jobs, quickly carmelizing sugar on creme brulee and tarts and igniting flaming desserts and meringue toppings without overheating. It is a safe butane-fueled torch with an easy on/off trigger, an efficient flame adjustment lever, and a safety lock. It's safe and easy to handle with a textured rubber body. When not in use, it sits on its base. The torch will burn for 60 to 70 minutes when full. NOTE: the porcelain ramekins 56.088.001 make great creme brulee dishes. Don't forget to order butane fuel cannisters!
