Reflections, Muir Park

Reflections, Muir Park

Item#/SKU: p353
This reflecting pool is created by the outlet stream of Ennis Lake, part of the John Muir Memorial Park in Wisconsin. Muir, considered the father of the National Park System and founder of the Sierra Club, spent his teenage years clearing the farm adjacent to the park after arriving here from his native Scotland. Here we see a sedge meadow rimmed by Red-osier Dogwood, giving way to an oak upland on the south-west side of the lake. Part of the Muir Park State Natural Area. From a 4x5 color negative.
