If you plan to rent or borrow a Lactina breast pump, this kit has all the parts you'll need, including two breast shields to place over your nipples, two milk collection bottles, tubing to carrying the milk into the bottles, and a special piston that keeps milk from coming into contact with the pump. If it sounds confusing, don't worry: The kit includes an easy-to-follow instruction book. You can't use the pump without a kit, and the kits are designed to be used by one woman only, to avoid cross-contamination of milk.
