PEPTAMEN VHP Complete Very-High-Protein Elemental Diet is isotonic and ready to use for complete or supplemental tube feeding. PEPTAMEN VHP is specifically formulated for easy digestion and absorption for patients with impaired gastrointestinal function and elevated protein requirements. PEPTAMEN VHP is designed for the dietary management of patients with protein-losing enteropathy, diarrhea secondary to hypoalbuminemia, chronic diarrhea in patients with pressure ulcers and HIV/AIDS related malabsorption. PEPTAMEN VHP may also be useful as a dual feeding with TPN or as a transition diet from TPN.

PEPTAMEN VHP is available in the ULTRAPAK System, a prefilled, non-air-dependent closed system to reduce set-up time, minimize the potential for bacterial contamination, decrease waste and provide the flexibility of a hang time of up to 48 hours. Features:

• 25% of calories from hydrolyzed whey protein for patients with increased protein requirements or excessive protein losses
